Independent Non-Executive Chair, Delt Shared Services

Renumeration: Renumerated Appointment £550/day

Trustee Recruitment (Chair and Treasurer designate) for Citizens Advice Plymouth
Location: Plymouth
Renumeration: Non-renumerated
Citizens Advice Plymouth employs 180 staff and has 50 volunteers, who work both locally and nationally to support people who have problems with debt, housing, welfare benefits, employment and many other advice areas.
We can all face problems that seem complicated and intimidating. At Citizens Advice Plymouth, we believe that no one should have to face these problems without good quality, independent advice.
We have a clear set of strategic aims. These allow us to provide the advice and support people need for the problems they face and work towards changing policies and practices that affect people’s lives. We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination.
The Board of Trustees has an interesting and challenging task to ensure that the governance and finances of the charity are correct and to advise and support the senior leadership team
Trustee Recruitment, Step One Charity
Location: Devon
Renumeration: Non-renumerated – expenses paid
Time commitment: 10 – 15 hours per month
We are working with Step One Charity, which offers a comprehensive combination of mental health support, supported living, and employment opportunities to up to 800 people in Devon each year
Their mission is to support people to build a pathway to independence, live a fulfilling life and reach their own potential through a range of specialist mental health and wellbeing services.
Having appointed a new Chair and a number of new Trustees in November 2024, we are now seeking two additional Trustees.
We are specifically seeking someone who has a professional background with an emphasis on mental health (this could be clinical psychologist, mental health worker, GP, OT etc.)
We are also seeking to further diversify the Board of Trustees to represent the communities that the charity serves, so if you are interested in offering your skills to the board in one of the areas below, please get in touch.

Chair of Directors for Safer Stronger Communities
Location: Cornwall (remote attendance at Board meetings possible)
Hours: 2-3 hours per month
Safer Stronger Communities (SSC) is seeking an exceptional individual to take on the role of Chair of Directors, leading our Board and driving our mission to create safer, more inclusive communities across Cornwall.
SSC is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, dedicated to supporting vulnerable and marginalised individuals, including victims of crime, offenders and ex-offenders, young people, and those with learning disabilities. Through collaboration with over 25 partners, we facilitate real, lasting change by promoting equality, restorative justice, and community-led solutions.
With a strong foundation and small, but committed team, SSC is poised for its next phase. We are now seeking a dynamic Chair to provide strategic leadership and governance, ensuring we continue to deliver meaningful impact.
