As our next Chief Executive Officer, you will lead Havencare into this transformative new era, building on strong foundations while delivering our 3 big aims. A key focus of your role will be reaching more people with outstanding person-led support and driving our ambition to become a Registered Provider of Social Housing.
In this role, you will inspire, motivate, and lead an experienced, skilled and dedicated team who are passionate about delivering person-led high-quality support and housing solutions. Head of Housing, Revenues and Customer Services, Stratford on Avon District Council
Location: Stratford

We are looking for a Head of Housing, Revenues and Customer Services to complement our Management Team, who help shape and drive the modernisation of Stratford-on-Avon District Council. If this sounds like the opportunity for you – we’d love to hear from you.
In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of our ambitious Council Plan, leading critical services that directly improve people’s lives. Our ideal candidate will manage our £300,000 Cost of Living support fund, developing innovative programmes to help residents with heating costs and community support. You’ll be integral to the delivery of a dynamic customer services team, overseeing our contact centre and customer access terminals and ensuring collection of Council Tax and Business Rates, while working closely with housing partners to implement cutting-edge schemes like the Local Authority Decarbonising and Housing Fund. This role is crucial in driving our revenue collection strategy and supporting our commitment to becoming a Carbon Neutral District by 2030.

Trustee Recruitment, Step One Charity

We are working with Step One Charity, which offers a comprehensive combination of mental health support, supported living, and employment opportunities to up to 800 people in Devon each year
Their mission is to support people to build a pathway to independence, live a fulfilling life and reach their own potential through a range of specialist mental health and wellbeing services.
Having appointed a new Chair and a number of new Trustees in November 2024, we are now seeking two additional Trustees.
We are specifically seeking someone who has a professional background with an emphasis on mental health (this could be clinical psychologist, mental health worker, GP, OT etc.)

Commercial Development Manager, Livewell Southwest
Location: Plymouth (hybrid, with travel)
Salary: Band 8c £74,290 – £85,601
Time commitment: Full time
Livewell Southwest is a provider of integrated health and social care services operating across South Hams, West Devon and Plymouth, with additional responsibilities for delivering specialist services to people living in certain parts of Cornwall and Devon. Integrating health and social care means that we can deliver care for people in new ways which are more efficient, with professionals who would have previously worked in individual teams now working together. This way of working helps us to deliver the right care to people, in the right place, at the right time.
This is a strategic post within Livewell Southwest which will work closely with the Executive Team and Board of Directors making recommendations for new business opportunities. On a day-to-day basis the post will report directly to the Director of Finance.
The aim of the Commercial Development Manager is to identify and mobilise activity which will generate new income streams for the organisation and broaden the base of services that it provides. This will be done by identifying opportunities to establish new activity or through acquisition of existing business.
CEO, Mousehole Wild Bird Hospital Cornwall

Mousehole Wild Bird Hospital Cornwall is seeking an inspirational and visionary Chief Executive to lead Cornwall’s only wild bird only sanctuary. This pivotal role involves working closely with the Council of Trustees to shape and steer the charity’s direction and leadership.
We are proud to have provided rescue and rehabilitation for wild land and seabirds for nearly 100 years from our site in Mousehole and are committed to continuing our critical conservation work for years to come. This historical legacy whilst significant and an important part of our heritage does not guarantee our future.
Our Chief Executive will be responsible for driving the organisation’s growth, ensuring exceptional delivery of our services and caring for and rehabilitating more wild birds, year on year. Additionally, the CEO will serve as the public face of MWBHC, acting as a passionate ambassador for the charity while offering strong support and guidance to our team and volunteers.
Requirements
- Management experience in a charity or public sector body
- Experience of developing, implementing, evaluating and monitoring strategic, operational and business plans
- Proven expertise in strategic financial management, with an understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting
- Strong commercial acumen and experience of managing diverse portfolios with alternative income streams
- Experience of securing statutory grant funding and community funding
- A track record of forging successful partnerships and engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- People management, leadership and team building skills
- Significant experience of change management

We are looking for a new Strategic Director who loves Warwick just as much as we do.

You will be responsible for leading the delivery of our low cost, low carbon energy scheme. You will also take the lead on the Council’s innovative and high profile capital projects, Climate Change Programme, Biodiversity Action Programme, Town Centre Regeneration Schemes, the Housing Development Programme and Asset Management service, to meet the needs of the diverse communities we serve.
As an experienced professional, our new Strategic Director will be fundamental to shaping and delivering the future strategic direction of the Council and the District. You will have an innovative approach and a proven track record in delivering capital schemes, especially in respect of low cost, low carbon housing, transforming services, whilst making efficiencies and generating new income. You will have previous experience working in, or closely with local government and will have experience in building positive relationships with Elected Members.
